Samoan Language Week

This week was Samoan language week we had a lot of fun in room six watching cultural hub videos and learning all about the animal names and body parts. Did you know there is only 17 letters in the Samoan alphabet? We also did a scavenger hunt in the classroom to find out some more cool facts. We had three leaders come up and teach us how we can have a conversation and count in Samoan here is a photo of my work. I was one of the leaders and I really enjoyed it.

Mandarin Lesson - Family Titles.

This week on Wednesday we learnt about the family names in Mandarin. We also learnt a song to help us remember the names. Some of us got to go up the front and label the family members in this photo here. I am enjoying the mandarin classes.

Periodic Table

Last week we had the visitors to introduce Science week - Science in a Van.  This week we continued with science week.  We have been learning about the periodic table  we have  done some research here is a photo of my work . 

Easter Celebration

After the school holidays we came back to Easter celebration.  One of the crafts we made was a split wheel that shared four parts of Easter.  This is a picture of my wheel.
